According to the Hindu Calendar, the month of Margashish is considered to be auspicious. It is for this reason that Shree Mahalaxmi Temple Trust of Mumbai made special arrangements for the devotees to worship Goddess Shree Mahalaxmi on all the 4 Thursdays ( 5th, 12th 19th and 26th) of the month of December 2014.

Aniruddha’s Academy of Disaster Management (AADM) was requested to deploy their volunteers for crowd control and line management by the authorities of the Trust and Gamdevi Police Station.
Accordingly, AADM offered their assistance for controlling crowd and traffic by deploying 295 Disaster Management Volunteers (DMVs), on all four thursdays of December 2014.
The AADM services were further extended on the last Sunday of Margashish, i.e. 29th December 2014 on a special request by theTemple Trust.
A total of 46 DMVs participated on this day.
